Arnold A. Dodson, 89, of McMinnville died Sunday, June 29, at his residence. He was born March 2, 1925, in Bledsoe County and was a nurseryman with Mountain Creek Nursery, and a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. Mr. Dodson was preceded in death by parents James Walter and Nancie Carline Howard Dodson, wife Lorena Johnson Dodson, daughter Carolyn Ruth Poss, son Carl Edward Dodson, grandson David Poss, great-grandchild Dakota Dodson, and brother, Jesse Dodson.Survivors include son Clifton Lee (Brenda) Dodson, grandchildren Brenda Patrick, Bridget Poss, Tanya Balderas, Angela Dodson, Veronica Preston Fortner, Travis and Christopher Dodson, and Cynthia Forsythe, great-grandchildren Lee Ann, Zoe, Atlantis, McKinsey, and Shayne Dodson, Kaylana Forsythe, Jason Patrick, Adrik and Shadaya Balderas, Susanna McComis, and Ayla and Meadow Fortner, and great-great grandchildren Tyler and Logan Patrick and Keilee Hoover.Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel.
