Argie Earlene Sissom, 81, passed away Sunday Oct. 8 at the NHC Health Care in McMinnville. She was born in Hillsboro on Sept. 25, 1936.She was preceded in death by her parents, Lannie Gilliam and Winifred Sherrell Gilliam; husband, Stanley Sissom; daughters, Karen Parsley and Mary Jean Blair.Mrs. Sissom is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Bouldin (Red Henry) and Patricia (Matt) Barks; sons, Glen (Pam), David (Sheila), Walter and Jimmy (Darla) Schoenmann; 14 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in the Fults Cemetery. Layne Funeral Home in Altamont is in charge of arrangements.
