McMinnville resident and Warren County native Anthony Wade Davis, 67, was born Sept. 20, 1952 and passed away Sept. 14 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville following an extended illness.

A member of the Baptist church and retired employee with Warren County Highway Department, he was the son of the late Zollie Ray and Lola Mae Mooneyham Davis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Wilson Ray Davis and Luther Wayne Davis.

Mr. Davis is survived by two sons, Clint (Janet) Davis and Corey (Jaclyn) Davis, both of McMinnville, five grandchildren, Jalynn Davis, Caden Davis, Cason Davis, Kipton Davis and Briggs Davis, sister and brother-in-law, Treva and Ronnie Holland of McMinnville, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside service and interment will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, at Friendship Cemetery with Steve Breedlove officiating. There will be no public visitation or service at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
