Anna Maxine Antus, 90, of Niles, Mich., died Friday, June 24 with her family by her side.
Known as Maxine all of her life, she was born to the late William Tee and Vera (Brewer) Gillentine in McMinnville.
 On Dec. 11, 1948 Maxine married Andrew A. Antus at a ceremony in Niles.
 She was a homemaker all of her life. When she wasn’t tending to the needs inside of her home she enjoyed spending time gardening.
 Preceding her in death are her parents, and brothers; Jack, J.B. and Ray Gillentine, William Tee Gillentine Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Sally (Tom) Overmyer of Niles; and brother, Leon Gillentine of Niles.
In accordance with her request there will be no public services and those wishing to make a memorial donation may do so to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Breast Cancer Foundation.
