Ann Vaughn, 65, a Rock Island resident and Dayton, Ohio native, was born July 18, 1952 and died Aug. 9 in Halifax Medical Center in Florida following a brief illness.She was a retired receptionist with UCHRA, member of Life Restorations Church in Shelbyville, and daughter of the late James Estel and Ola Mae Jones Vaughn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Norma Hill and Betty Vaughn.Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and Dustin Cannon of McMinnville, Deanna Vaughn of Murfreesboro and Rebecca and Jonathan Bond of Rock Island; six grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law, Estel and Gail Vaughn of Smyrna, Kenneth Vaughn of McMinnville, John Vaughn of Rock Island and Eddie Vaughn of McMinnville; sisters, Joyce Allen and Brenda Fann both of McMinnville; several nieces and nephews; and best friends, Wayne and Gearldean Madewell of Rock Island. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, in High’s Chapel with Randy Williams to officiate.
