McMinnville resident and Greenville, S.C., native Andrea Louise Byrd, 38, was born Feb. 3, 1974 and died unexpectedly May 3 at River Park Hospital.She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Arthur and Gladys Byrd.She is survived by her parents, Patsy and Mason Hale of Rock Island; sister, Jacqueline Cottrell of Hopkinsville, Ky.; nieces, Brittany Jones of Greenville, S.C., and Brianna Cottrell of Hopkinsville, Ky.; father, Reuben Byrd of Greenville, S.C.; maternal grandparents Al and Mary Moore of San Antonio, Texas; grandmother, Mary Etta Hale of Bone Cave; stepsister, Tammie Gribble of Rock Island; aunt, Cindy Ellis of Fontana, Calif.; uncle, Robert Sommers of San Diego, Calif.; cousins, Erik Moore of Atlanta, Ga., and Andy Moore of Columbia, S.C.Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in High’s Chapel with Jerry Womack officiating. Burial will follow at Laurel Creek Cemetery in Van Buren County. Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday, and 8 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at High’s.
