Alton Al Webb, 81

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Alton “Al” Webb, 81, was born Nov. 5, 1934 and died April 11 at Raintree Manor following an extended illness.
A retired electrical technologist supervisor at UTSI, a United States Army veteran and a member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Oval James and Relma Ernestine Greene Webb. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother Billy Webb; and niece Anna Webb.
He was married May 6, 1977 to Karen Webb of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by son, Johnny Kirk Webb of Murfreesboro; two grandchildren, Alex Webb and Rhianna Webb, both of Murfreesboro; brother-in-law Jim Bisbee and wife Linda of Wichita, Kan.; two nieces, Kim Shaw of Nashville and Cindy Freeman of Wichita, Kan.; and mother-in-law, Minnie Bisbee.
A graveside memorial service and inurnment will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Salem Cemetery with Gary Newby and Kreed Curtis officiating. There will be no visitation or service at High’s. Family and friends are to meet at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s of Tennessee.
