McMinnville resident and Warren County native Alpha Omega Peake, 68, was born Oct. 15, 1950 and died April 26 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga following a sudden illness.
A caregiver with Graceful Boarding Home and a member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Roberta Winton Ramsey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Hubert and Donnie Wayne Ramsey.
She is survived by daughter Angie McKinley of McMinnville; daughter-in-law Miranda Moore of McMinnville; two grandchildren Danielle Ramsey and fiancé Dakota Watson and Raven McKinley; four great-grandsons; three brothers and sister-in-law, Wayne and Judy Ramsey, Paul Ramsey, and Franklin Ramsey, all of McMinnville; three sisters Janice Ramsey, Katherine Gutierrez and Mary Blevins, all of McMinnville; special nephew Melvin Ramsey; numerous other special nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and caregivers, Cathy Trisler, Tiffany Ramsey and Tamara Ramsey.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at High’s Chapel with Michael Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Corinth Cemetery. The wake will be Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
