McMinnville resident and Chicago, IL native Alice Elaine Pritchett, 90, was born Oct. 31, 1929 and died Feb. 19 at her residence following a six-month illness.

A homemaker, a member of the Eastern Star in Huffman, Texas, and a member of Locust Street Church of God in McMinnville, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Lena Cook VanDeWorken. She was married to John Glen Pritchett, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Barbara and Lester Willis of McMinnville, two grandchildren Kimberly Rosch and Jason Bracknell, both of McMinnville, great-grandson Nathaniel Rosch, three sisters Grace Downs of Arkansas, and Jean Murphy and Jackie King, both of Texas, and several nieces and nephews also survive.


A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at Locust Street Church of God with Jeff Page officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the church. Inurnment will be held at Huffman Cemetery in Huffman, Texas at a later date.
