Albert Jackson Stuart, 87, of McMinnville died Sunday, Dec. 8 at River Park Hospital in McMinnville. He was born April 15, 1926, in Gary, W.Va., was a retired Sgt. First Class with the U.S. Army where he served honorably in World War II and the Korean War. Mr. Stuart was preceded in death by his parents William D. and Ena Walker Stuart, his wife Katherine Gribble Stuart, a daughter Judy Matthews, a son Ronald Stuart, his sisters Louise Stuart, Virginia Reece, and Mae White, and his brothers Grover, Richard, Ronald, and William D. Stuart Jr., and daughter-in-law Kathleen Mary Stuart.Survivors include his children Albert J. Stuart Jr., and Richard L. Stuart, both of McMinnville, and Vivian Mahan of Rosenberg, Texas; nine grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, and nephews.Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday in McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel.
