McMinnville resident and Van Buren County native Alan Wade Bryant, 58, was born Sept. 21, 1957 and died Aug. 9 from a sudden illness.He was a construction worker and a sergeant in the United States Army, where he served for four years. He is survived by father and stepmother, Walker and Mazel Bryant Jr. of McMinnville; mother Nancy Gladys Northcutt Bryant of McMinnville; son and daughter-in-law Travis Isaac and Kristi Bryant of Powell; two grandchildren Jackson and Lincoln Bryant, both of Powell; sister and brother-in-law Vickie and John Leonard of Estill Springs; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at High’s Chapel with Gene Brock officiating.
