Ada Frances Peters, 89

Murfreesboro resident and Villa Rica, Ga., native Ada Frances Peters, 89, was born Feb. 25, 1931 and died July 12 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro following a brief illness.

A retired teller with City Bank & Trust Company and a member of Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church, she was the daughter of the late Bernard Grady and Eugenia Embry Webb. She was married Dec. 19, 1951 to Jack Denton Peters, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by three children, Denton (Sherry) Peters, Michael Peters, and Nancy (Jeff) Duke, all of Murfreesboro, five grandchildren Stevie Trotter, Dale Peters, Christy Gonzalez, Anna Frye and Abby Duke, five great-grandchildren, Ada Lynn Trotter, Rhett Trotter, Salvador Gonzalez III, Raegan Frye and Reese Frye, and loving companion Piper.

A graveside service and interment will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Steve Hutson officiating. There will be no visitation at High’s. Family and friends are to meet at the cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
