McMinnville resident and Warren County native A. Garland McMillen, 72, died unexpectedly June 23 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga.A truck driver with Central Oil Company and a member of Charles Creek Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Charlie and Mildred Couch McMillen and was preceded in death by brother, Billy McMillen.He is survived by his wife, Frankie Bain McMillen; children and their spouses, Carl McMillen of LaVergne, Timothy McMillen of McMinnville, Steve and Cyd McMillen of McMinnville; grandchildren, Logan Moore, Hunter Moore and Tyler Womack; sister, Laveta McGlothin of Murfreesboro; sister-in-law, Betty McMillen of McMinnville; several nieces and nephews.Services will be held at 1 p.m. today at High’s Chapel with Nick Pelham and Darrell Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery.
