Jeff and Wanda Shaver Womack are observing their 40th wedding anniversary today. The couple wed Oct. 15, 1977 at Bethel Hill Baptist Church.
Their parents are Shirley and Morris Neal, the late Frank Shaver, and Virginia and the late Bill Womack.
To celebrate the occasion, the couple visited Canada, enjoying Banff, Yoho and Jasper National Parks.
They are parents to Candace and Jackie Matheny Jr., and Heath and Brandi Womack. They are grandparents to Kaylee Womack, Kensley Womack, Jackson Matheny and Jace Matheny.
He is the owner-operator of J&W Farms, and she is a private piano teacher. They enjoy kayaking and riding their side-by-side in the mountains.
