Waterfall tour set for March 18

A hiker enjoys one of the many area waterfalls. Reservations are available for the upcoming 16th Annual Waterfall Tour sponsored by Friends of Edgar Evins State Park on March 18.

The 16th Annual Waterfall Tour by Friends of Edgar Evins State Park is scheduled for March 18, with a few spots still available. Many go every year as the itinerary varies with different falls and restaurants.. This year the tour will include the falls of Waterloo, Ozone and City Park, with lunch at Golden Corral in Cookeville. 
Transportation will be on a school bus from the office at Edgar Evins State Park to the three falls and restaurant. Sign-in will be at 8 a.m. and the bus will return to the park about 3 to 3:30 p.m. The cost is $15 per person, plus the lunch. There will be rest stops along the way, including the gift shop at Stonehaus Winery at Crossville.
Reservations are required and are easy to do online. Just go to the Friends website at www.foeesp.com/waterfall-tour/. There will be a link to click that will open the reservation site.
