Dylan Simmons and Jessica Delon were voted Mr. and Miss Van Buren County High School. Simmons and Delon were chosen by their peers to represent the Class of 2021.

Van Buren County High School has announced its senior superlatives and top 10 academically. VBHS had non-traditional superlatives this year to make the section of the yearbook even more interesting.

Instead of “Cutest Couple” they voted for the “Cutest Couple that Never Was” to decide which two seniors the rest think would look cute together. The categories were creative and gave just a little more insight to who the students of Spencer are.

Along with the fun superlatives were Mr. and Miss Van Buren County High School to represent the Eagles even after graduation. Jessica Delon was voted Miss VBCHS, and Dylan Simmons was voted Mr. VBCHS. Simmons is also one of the valedictorians for the Class of 2021.

This year, there were five valedictorians who achieved the highest academic honor for high school.

The co-valedictorians are Morgan Chloe Bouldin, Macy Olivia Delon, Chloe Anne Hillis, Amelia Jean Rigsby and Dylan Keith Simmons.

With the ranking system currently in place at VBCHS, they ended with 11 students making the Top 10 in the class.

Tied for the sixth rank are Andrea Desarai Baker, Jaylyn Elois Hankins and Chloe Elizabeth Ragland.

Tied for the ninth rank are Jaylan Dare Baker, Victoria Nichole Shown and Will Hughston Wrisner.
