The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Callie-Jo Stanford to Tyler Dee Martinez, both of Herriman, Utah is being announced by the bride parents, Robert G. and Amy-Jo Stanford of Herriman, and formerly of McMinnville. The prospective bridegroom is the son of Dallas and Cheryl Martinez of Herriman.
Miss Stanford is the granddaughter of Evelyn Stanford of Memphis, the late Vernon Glen Stanford and the late Jake and Jewel Armstrong. She is a graduate of Herriman High School, State DECA President 2015-16, and a student at Brigham Young University majoring in physiology and developmental biology. She is employed at Bright Star Care.
Her fiancé is the grandson of Lois Harmon of West Valley City, Utah, and currently serving a mission for the LDS Church in New Hampshire, the late Dee Harmon, Kristine Griffiths of West Valley City, Utah and the late Charles Martinez. He is a graduate of Herriman High School, and a business economics major at the University of Utah. He is in the Business Scholars Program, and served a mission for the Church of Christ of Latter-day Saints in Nicaragua. He is an intern for Northwestern Mutual.
The couple will wed Jan. 14 in the Salt Lake City Temple of the Church of Christ of Latter-day Saints.
