Frank Bond is the third generation to make sorghum, following the same techniques used by his father Edward, and grandfather Herbert Bond. “I used to help them in the field cutting the cane when I was 5 years old,” said Frank. He and his wife, Gewanda, reside in the Centertown community where he grows two acres of cane for the labor-intensive sorghum making.
