Lots of activities are coming at the McMinnville-Warren County Senior located at 809 Morrison Street. According to director Connie Smith, the public is invited to attend all functions.
In addition to their regular programs and activities, special event details follow:
• Dr. Ming Wang of Nashville based Wang Vision Cataract and 3D LASIK Center, will present a vision care talk for members and guests at the center on Thursday, July 28 at 9 a.m.
In this special educational talk the doctor will offer suggestions on how to care for your vision. Further, he will discuss the most updated state-of-the-art LASIK technology available whenever corrective procedures are necessary. He will also accept individual questions from the audience and all attendees will receive a gift certificate good for discounts toward the enhancement procedures that he performs.
Dr. Wang is a Harvard and MIT graduate (MD, magna cum laude) and one of only a few cataract and LASIK eye surgeons in the world today who holds a doctorate degree in laser physics. The doctor’s remarkable real-life story inspired a character in the nationally acclaimed book, “God’s Not Dead.”

The cost for the fundraiser event will be $6 a person. Tickets can be bought at the center prior to the event or purchased at the door. It’s recommended to reserve tickets, as the last visit was a sellout. Refreshments will be available at the concession stand.
