Library presents story time with beauty queen

Magness Library volunteer coordinator Cheryl Watson Mingle is announcing storytime and craft session with the reigning Miss Gallatin Outstanding Teen Mary Humphrey. Sessions will take place on March 4 and March 18 in the children’s section at the library.
Humphrey, daughter of Dale and Gloria Humphrey, is a freshman at Warren County High School and a member of the Pioneerette dance team. Her pageant platform is Improving Literacy in Tennessee, and she is excited to work with children in her community.
She will compete in the Tennessee Outstanding Teen Pageant March 11 in Jackson. Her talent will be a ballet en pointe presentation. 
Library activities will be from 10 – 11 a.m., and are designed for children up to 10 years old. March 4 activities include the reading of “Sofia the First,” and “The Royal slumber Party.” Children are welcome to wear their favorite pajamas.
March 18 activities include the reading of “Frozen Big Snowman Little Snowman,” with children encouraged to dress in “Frozen” costumes.” A backdrop will be available for keepsake photos. 
Mingle encourages volunteerism at the library, with interested people contacting her at
