The completion of the inaugural Miss Morrison Pageant was deemed a success, with over $1,800 raised for school playground equipment.
Organizer Melodye Hyder and a group of PTO members worked diligently putting the event on.
“This will be an annual event,” said Hyder. “We had a good turnout and raised a good amount for the playground. In fact, they are putting some of the new equipment in now.”
