Linda Fisher, Fran Farmelo and Paula Barnes were the hostesses at the Aug. 1 meeting of Midway FCEC. They met at the community center, with President Dian Greene conducting. The devotional was led by Jean Cantrell, with her thought of the day being “A Few Rules to Live By.” The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Barbra Corun, and roll call was answered by 17 members naming a tree that produces a spice, fruit or nut.
