2019 Good Scout Award.jpg
The Black Fox District of the Middle Tennessee Council of Boy Scouts of America honored the service and dedication of former sheriff Jackie Matheny to our community at the 2019 Good Scout Event. His service to the community is an exemplary example in keeping with the Scout Oath and Law. Making the presentation are, from left, Black Fox District chair Dale Humphrey, Black Fox senior district executive Mark Lytle, Matheny, and Black Fox District commissioner Jim Dyer.
The Black Fox District serves over 350 local Scout participants in the counties of Warren, White, DeKalb and Van Buren, teaching them citizenship, physical fitness and leadership development. Contributions will go directly to support the programs of the Black Fox District, Boy Scouts of America.
