Dog Day at Fairview CIC will be held July 11 at the community center, with activities starting at 8 a.m. Organizer Clint Grissom is encouraging all persons interested in coon hounds and coon hunting activities to attend. “I’m hoping to spark some interest in coon hunting, and hopefully start a coon hunter club,” said Grissom. He is an avid hunter, and comes from a family of coon hunters who have amassed many memories from the sport.
