Ben Lomand Connect has announced a five-year plan has been approved by the Ben Lomand Connect board to deploy fiber to the premises to over 85 percent of the Ben Lomand service territory. The plan includes the areas of McMinnville, Rock Island, Centertown, Dibrell, Viola, Hillsboro, Beechgrove, Monteagle, Tracy City, Laager, and Doyle with the Hillsboro area kicking off the build in 2017.Lisa Cope, general manager/CEO of Ben Lomand Connect said, “This decision required months of stra-tegic planning and reviewing countless options. As we begin the engineering and construction phases, we hope to gain momentum and realize synergies that could potentially result in the completion of these projects ahead of schedule.
