Beersheba Springs to hold 45th annual crafts fair

The 45th annual Beersheba Springs Arts and Crafts Festival will once again brighten up the small hamlet of Beersheba Springs on Aug. 27-28. The festival draws thousands of people from around the area, with close to 130 exhibitors coming from several states.
The show is held on the historic United Methodist Assembly grounds in Grundy County. The property is the site of a 19th-century resort and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Several new food boths will be available, with a variety of good food. The hotel dining room will serve breakfast and lunch both days.
The proceeds from vendor fees and food sales go to benefit locals charities in the community including the Beersheba Springs Library, Beersheba Springs Rescue Squad, Beersheba Springs Community Center, Grundy County Center for Exceptional Citizens, North Elementry School and food baskets.
Fair board members are Fran Holt, chairman; Donald Boyd, Melissa scruggs, Lonnie Whitman and Bobby Thompson.
The town of Beersheba Springs is located on US Highway 56, 18 miles from McMinnville, and 25 miles from Monteagle.
