Christmas shopping season is here and just in time for the second annual Mistletoe Marketplace.
Mistletoe Marketplace is organized by the Three Sisters Candle Co. and will be held at Three Star Mall on Saturday, Nov. 27. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and there will be local crafts, gifts and food for shoppers to enjoy.
This event encourages residents to shop local this holiday season with a variety of local vendors lined up. The vendors will be set up throughout the mall.
“There will be anything and everything to shop from, including but not limited to, holiday decor, boutique clothing, and many different styles of gifts for everyone,” said Cassie Johnson of Three Sisters Candle Co. “We hope to be able to provide local artists/ crafters with an outlet to be able to sell their creations before Christmas, especially since the Homeland Bank show was cancelled.”
The Warren County Arts and Crafts Fair, long held the weekend before Thanksgiving at McMinnville Civic Center, won’t take place this year, according to show sponsor Homeland Community Bank.
The Three Sisters Candle Co. is a local handcrafted family business in McMinnville. It organizes a variety of craft fair events, and recently held the Falling for Fall Craft and Vendor Market at Three Star Mall, which was a big success.
Leading up to this month’s Mistletoe Marketplace, Three Sisters Candle Co. will be doing some giveaways on its Facebook page and will have something for the first shoppers at the event on Nov. 27.
“We will have free shopping bags to the first 25 shoppers of the day, and we will be doing some gift certificate giveaways on the Facebook event page leading up to the event,” said Johnson.
To apply for a booth, a vendor application link is located on the Three Sisters Candle Co. Facebook page. A traditional booth is 10x10 and costs $35.
The deadline to apply for a booth is Friday, Nov. 19.
