Big Lots going out of business It's not fun having to write about businesses closing their doors, especially when it leads to people losing their jobs this close to Christmas. Sadly, that's the news I have to bring you this week, as on Thursday, Big Lots announced the chain will begin going-out-of-business sales at all its stores. Yes, that includes our local Big Lots in Northgate Shopping Center which has been in that space for decades.
