A female inmate who was caught two months ago trying to smuggle a phone into the county jail inside her shoe has been nabbed again, this time trying a more novel way to stay connected. The woman, Heather B. Knight, 24, entered a plea to her new charges and was directed by General Sessions Judge Bill Locke to serve 15 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence and pay $75 plus costs for bringing contraband into a penal institution. She has also been found in violation of her probation.
