Yard shootout leads to month in jail

A man who reportedly exchanged gunfire with another man after he went to his house to talk about his son being bullied has been sentenced to a month in jail. The father, Miguel Angel Padin, 43, entered a guilty plea to the lesser charge of misdemeanor reckless endangerment with a firearm. He was directed by Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley to serve 30 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence and to forfeit his firearm.
