No Cinderella story

A man who ran out of his shoes while trying to evade arrest will spend eight years in the state penitentiary. The man, William E. Norris, 31, entered no-contest pleas before Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley to charges of evading arrest, possession of meth, and driving on a suspended license. He was given an eight-year sentence and ordered to pay $2,000 plus costs.
