Fire departments to share grant

Several Warren County volunteer fire departments will be sharing in the bounty of a federal grant which will help them buy new breathing equipment. “It was recently announced that fire departments in Warren County are receiving a federal grant for new Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) to replace those which are currently in service in Warren County,” said Centertown Fire Lt. Joey Clark in announcing the grant. “This replacement project is budgeted to cost roughly $430,000 with federal funds covering 90 percent of the cost.”
