Caldwell attends honors program

Warren County High School senior Sabrina Caldwell recently attended the Congress of Future Medical Leaders in Washington, DC. The Congress is an honors-only program for high school students who want to become physicians or go into medical research fields. Caldwell wants to do research in either neurology or psychology.

Tour of Homes set for Saturday

The third annual Holiday Candlelight Tour of Homes, presented by Covenant Academy, will take place Saturday, Dec. 13 from 5 – 8 p.m. Tickets are priced at $15 each, and are available at Covenant Academy, Hale’s Cleaners, Southern Traditions, Southern Style Salon, Wink Skincare and Roberts and Netherton Family and Implant Dentistry. Tickets can also be purchased at each location.

A Magical Parade

A Magical Parade

Downtown McMinnville was filled with cheer Saturday as the annual Christmas parade made its way through the town. Many of the 82 parade entries focused on utilizing the Disney Christmas theme chosen by organizers. Parade watchers were awed by everything from Disney princesses to happy animals from the “Jungle Book” movie.
