Soccer success

The Warren County High School girls soccer team is hitting its stride at the right time. The Lady Pioneers followed up a big victory over Franklin County in their season finale with an 8-0 win Saturday night over White County in the opening round of the district tournament. Warren County (8-7) ended the season on a high note with a 4-1 victory over the Lady Rebels last week. Scoring was spread out for Warren County. Sally Willmore, Abby Roller and Sam Ramsey each tallied goals in the first half, while Maddie Merriman added to the total in the second half.
