After rain fronts closed area ball fields Thursday, the Warren County High School freshman Pioneers faced Tullahoma’s freshman Wildcats in baseball action on a hot, humid field Friday. Knotted at 2-2 until the sixth inning, the Wildcat offense found some fresh air as they breezed three grounders down the third-base line, scoring three runs in the process, and making a tough deficit to dig out from under as the final score remained 6-2 in favor of the Wildcats.
