Boyd Christian High School’s Erin Cantrell committed Wednesday to continue her education and play basketball for Freed Hardeman University in the fall. “I’m really very excited about the opportunity,” said Cantrell, who plans on pursuing her education in the field of nursing and specializing in kinesiology or the scientific study of human or non-human body movement which includes biomechanics and orthopedics, strength and conditioning, sport psychology, methods of rehabilitation, such as physical and occupational therapy, and sport and exercise.
