Giving no quarter, the Lady Pioneers refused to let visiting Cookeville leave with a win Tuesday. Down 6-3 in the bottom of the eighth, Warren County made a stand, and in an epic comeback rally scored 4 runs, 3 off a Skyler Youngblood inside-the-park HR to right field, to capture the win, 7-6. Youngblood, a WCHS senior and standout player, suffered a leg injury coming into home on the winning run. Youngblood is batting .429 with 12 RBIs and 3 home runs so far this season and has signed her letter of intent to play for Motlow next year.
