Pioneers tame Lions

The Warren County soccer team was all wet Monday as the Pioneers traveled to Cannon County to take on the Lions. Despite the inclement weather, the Pioneers prevailed, defeating the Lions in a non-conference game by a score of 5-4. After playing a primer against Riverdale on Friday night in similar conditions, the Pioneers were ready to play and made the extra effort to take home a win in the season’s first official, albeit not conference, challenge.
