Lady Pioneers lose home opener

The Warren County High School Lady Pioneers tangled with Tullahoma Tuesday night on the diamond for their first home game of 2015. Tullahoma struck first and struck often early in the game and Warren County just couldn’t recover. Tullahoma defeated Warren County after seven innings, 8-4.

The Warren County Pioneers and Cumberland County Jets put runners aboard in their seven-inning test of wills. The Pioneers got out of the gate slow and were down through four innings 4-1, but a huge five-run fifth inning catapulted them into the lead 6-4 and the Pioneer defense kept the Jets grounded for the final two innings of play.

Coffee County comes back to beat WCMS

Warren County Middle School has been on a tear as of late and Thursday night the Lady Pioneers held a 6-3 lead through three innings when something suddenly caused the bottom to fall out. Coffee County was on the right side of the mistakes and made a comeback through the fourth and fifth innings to defeat the WCMS Lady Pioneers 11-9 in Manchester.
