Would you be in favor of 1 cent being added to county property tax with the $65,000 it generates to be split among the county's seven volunteer fire departments?

this is ridiculous ..NO NO NO .. there would be enough money if people would subscribe to their fire departments in the county. But because they refuse to put in their fair share .. I am suppose to pay for them !! NO.

If that 1 cent were added to EVERY household in Warren County except those in the city limits of McMinnville and Morrison (Who do have a city tax supported fire department) would the fire departments be solvent enough to not have to have subscriptions for people in their jurisdiction to pay? If so, I think it would be a good idea. Otherwise, I think if you don't pay your subscription they should not have to respond to your fire. Or, they should be able to charge the homeowner who did not pay their subscription all the expenses associated with their fire incident.
