It would be great if everyone who votes would leave a comment explaining their vote. Of course I understand many of you have screen names that could be figured out and might be concerned with backlash for voicing your opinion. Thank you all who take the time to vote.

Yes film it and show it. All committee meetings. Let the public see 'their commissioners" at work. What is Gary Prater afraid of ?

Thank you, for commenting. Would love to see reasoning for not taping.

Monday, Monday, Monday....see Creepy Commissioner Michael Shane Wilcher Wilcher and his nefarious sidekick, ...camera in a limited engagement at the Warren county administration building at 6:00. He will be performing a feat of unimaginable courage, strength, and ...stupidity? when he exercises the right we all have to tape open meetings as your counties elected officials decide YOUR fate. Come one, come all to see the show.... Remember, just last year James Clark of the southern standard stated he wanted Commissioner Michael Wilcher to wear a gopro so he might get video of someone beating him. That could still come true, James. Don't give up on your dreams or wishes.

I wish to publicly apologize to James Clark of the Southern Standard. I used the word CREEPY in a previous comment in allusion to the editorial James wrote in the paper. James did not describe the exercising of the right to videotape public meetings as CREEPY. The word he used to describe it was EERIE. A much different word with a vastly differing definition. I apologize. I had seen the word CREEPY used by a citizen in their letter to the editor in the paper and recklessness used it in my posts on mine and others FaceBook pages. Please forgive me as I am human and new to the politics game. Again, James Clark did not use the word CREEPY in his editorial concerning the videotaping of local public government meetings as is the right of every citizen. Thank you, all, and again I apologize. Commissioner Michael Shane Wilcher

I think it is time that our county and city government is held accountable... What are they scared of? That we will see how corrupt they are, It would shock me if half of our elected officials was honest . Out of the 24 commissioners i am guessing maybe 5 to 7 are honest . When it comes to our sheriff and DA It is my opinion that those two should be locked up or at the very least out of office. Our road superintendent needs to realize that his office is not something that should be passed down to his children like it was passed to him by his daddy.. I have said this for many years that we need a change we need term limits and we need to toss anyone out of office that has been there over two terms.. I am fed up with this small town and the crap that takes place here. most of our elected officials are trying to do nothing more than run a mafia ring of crime and some or just as guilty of drug use and domestic assault as those that are guest at warren county jail..
