Do you think taxpayer dollars should be used to renovate the Park Theatre?

Entertainment is not a governmental function. If the Park can stand on its own as a self-supporting private entity, it should -- and I would support and applaud it. But if it cannot stand on its own, government funds should not be used to prop it up. First, entertainment is not a governmental function. Entertainment is a luxury item. Second, the need to use governmental funds is proof that it is not a viable proposition. Public funds should not be wasted on non-viable projects.

Forget about the park theater!! Our town is dying right in front of us and fixing up downtown isnt gonna do anything...If you are gonna spend tax dollars use it to keep the civic center open on weekends so that our kids have something positive to do!!
