The TBI has positively identified the female murder victim who was found shot and burned and left by the old rock quarry just over the Warren County line in Summitville.

The victim has been identified as Connie Lou Brown, 51, of McMinnville.

According to the TBI, Brown’s body was found Saturday by two men on four-wheelers.
