Friday’s District 6-AAA opener for the Warren County High School girls basketball team was played at Charlie Dalton Gym, but the Coffee County Lady Raiders looked right at home.
The Lady Raiders banked in 3-pointers, got friendly rolls and threw a block party on their way to a 52-26 thumping of the Lady Pioneers.
Warren County (12-9) was looking to snap a losing streak that dated back to 2003 to Coffee County when the game tipped off Friday, but the Lady Raiders quickly showed why they have dominated the Lady Pioneers in the past.
