Lady Pioneers end losing skid

The Warren County High School girls basketball team survived a cold shooting night in Centennial Saturday to snap a three-game losing streak.
Behind 18 points from Bri Melton and a stingy Lady Pioneer defense, Warren County defeated Centennial 34-25.
Warren County (6-4) had lost its previous three games before Saturday and a tough shooting night  nearly extended the streak to four.
The Lady Pioneers missed 24 of its 28 3-pointers and made only 10-of-22 free throws, but coach Erick Baird credited his team's transition defense for the win.
